Panorama was the acquisition of a distressed real estate company whose owners were affiliates of the Panasonic group. The transaction involved the acquisition of more than 265 properties, and other income-generating business lines. Aetos seconded employees to the company, sold the trophy office portfolio via the IPO of a public J-REIT, aggressively asset-managed the hotel porfolio, sold non-core properties, did a private placement to high-brand institutions, and sold the remaining business to a domestic utility company.
